i don't network, i make the net work
all tryna play catchup and respect work
i sink nets first, and then i quench thirst
and still never have to worry 'bout my net worth
it's finally starting to happen
30 years old - 27 of them rapping
never thought i’d be commuting on a damn plane
wanna celebrate, get the champagne
i do it everyday, yes i’m flashing
owning like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah
i work it everyday, make it happen
push it like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah
i'm on my polyphase
work days are holidays
dark side, fly me to the moon, olivier
never turn it off, let the song play
from kanye to andre to beyoncé
wifey gets annoyed ‘cause i listen to it all day
not tryna chase a coin, that’s the wrong way
i brought the noise, ’til the noise brought pay
write albums on laphroaig, call it scotch tape
i do it everyday, yes i’m flashing
owning like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah
i work it everyday, make it happen
push it like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah
rap rapscallion, candy on a track
one-man battalion could rally the attack
when i’m back here in cali and i’m savvy with stacks
road trip through the valley of the shadow of rap
from oakland to sac-town, packed crowds
rocking slim’s to the glass house
never back down
on tour with the crew i love
you know i’m doing what i love to do, what’s up
i do it everyday, yes i’m flashing
owning like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah
i work it everyday, make it happen
push it like you can’t imagine
i’m doing alriiiiiiight, yeah
i’m feeling alriiiiiiight, yeah

Though I have just as much nostalgia with Volume Alpha, I think this one is a little more nostalgic for me. I was primarily a creative mode player cause I sucked at survival mode for a while and I played the console versions a lot. It was not until quarantine came around that I played survival mode often. I own the CD and I pre-ordered the vinyl cause I love this album. AG319 Alt Acc

Back in my high school days, my friend asked me "If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, which album would you choose?" My answer at the time had been one by C418.
That probably doesn't remain true today, but it would certainly be a great starting point. Rosenfeld imbues each track with a distinct poignant loneliness which consistently aids my mind in isolating itself from the world and focusing on the task at hand. malcalor
